Karori Hockey Club has teams throughout the Wellington Hockey competition. We provide opportunities for performance athletes right through to players just getting started.
Wellington’s longest running hockey club
Established in 1899, Karori Hockey Club has been part of Wellington’s hockey community for over 120 years. We enjoy a proud tradition and reputation for success, offering men's and women's teams competing in various grades of the Wellington competition.
Where we play
Despite our namesake, Karori Hockey has a wide membership from around the Wellington region.
Our home turf is the National Hockey Stadium (NHS) in Newtown. Karori teams train here and premier teams play most weeks on one of the three turfs located here.
Karori reserve grade teams also train and play all home games at NHS but also play away games at the other turfs around the region:
